"My friends live close to the gates of China Town so this location is great for a quick take away! The yam roll and salmon sushimi are soooo good here!! It's nice for dining in too, as I recall they have a sushi pizza!"

"We decided to give Bon Sushi another try tonight. This was after watching one of the cooks blow his nose and promptly start handling food during our last visit. This time we had the worst, rudest service ever. Server brought drinks including nice big chipped glass, followed by soy dishes covered in black sludge, at which the server giggled. We got our rolls which took at least half an hour and never saw her again. Had to flag someone down to ask for our bill and unluckily picked the worst server I've ever come across. She literally grunted twenty minutes later when she finally brought our bill. Lucky for us she was on the till when we paid...no I did not tip, this is a first for me and I don't feel bad about it. I'll go back to Yoshi or Shiki any day - better food, better prices and better service, worth the extra drive."

"Low key place for good sushi with reasonable prices. They also make the best beef udon noodle soup I've had in Victoria. Great for fresh sushi to go as well. Open 10-7, closed Sundays."

"Just came back from a wonderful lunch at Osaka. I took my wife as she had never been. The thing I like about Osaka is that it is always consistently good. The menu has a wide range of sushi, sashimi, teriyaki and tempura plus lots other Japanese dishes.But for my money nothing beats the Bento box. They have a special Bento for each day of the week, pork, chicken,beef , tempura etc. Today I had the teriyaki beef bento and my wife had a tofu bento. You get miso, rice and a salad plus never ending Japanese tea. Everything is made fresh on site and is well portioned. My wife who is a recent convert to Japanese food devoured her Bento and loved it. Mine was excellent as I added tempura on the side accompanies by an Anahi Beer.For the two of us with up it was just about $30, full value for the meal we had. The service is very attentive and the two servers were very friendly and helpful. We will go back for sure"

"Ordered the salmon and tuna don and tonkatsu don. The salmon and tuna don was a little disappointing, I would not recommend it. But the tonkatsu was absolutely delicious! The place was cozy and nice, service was very good as well."
