"The food and service was great BUT beware of hidden charges not disclosed by our waitress or on the menu. We were given a choice of house or Cesar salad with our entree’s. I chose house and was offered house, creamy blue cheese or blue cheese vinaigrette dressing. I chose creamy blue cheese. My wife chose the Cesar salad. When the bill arrived we were surprised that the Cesar salad was charged an extra 2.50 and I was charged an extra .50 for creamy blue cheese. When we questioned this there was not a sufficient answer except that the waitress mentioned that the chef said creamy blue cheese does not present as well….so why was it offered? Now as for my wife’s Cesar salad it was just plain romaine lettuce with dressing, 5 croutons, no Parmesan chards, nothing fancy. The house salad was mixed greens, cucumber slices carrots, and presented better than the Cesar which cost more. It’s a bit pricy and portions are small. Had to ask for bread 3 times because they serve one slice per person with 1 pat of butter per slice. The dessert was very good and presented with Happy Anniversary written in chocolate across the rim of the plate."
