"We were recommended this restaurant by a Portuguese couple who said it was the nicest Indian restaurant in the area. We ate here tonight and if I could give 10 out of 5 stars I would!! The food was delicious and the service was exceptional.. Harry and his colleagues served us and they were kind, professional and extremely nice gentleman.. I would recommend this restaurant 100%.. It is the best Indian food I have tasted in ages!"

"We ordered soup for starters,both veg soup and tomato soup were gorgeous!..however,after specifically asking for my steak well done and homemade potatoes,i was served rare steak(not cooked and like jelly) and crisps..as in tayto in a bowl!!after seeing the homemade potatoes crisps),i ordered wedges to accompany...the steak. They were that greasy i couldnt manage more than two,dinner genuinely had me heaving and i was ill for some time after!my experience went from delighted to disgusted in the space of ten minutes!..however,the staff we were served by were friendly and very efficient!!"

"We arrived fairly late on the first night of our stay at Pinhal da Marina, so we decided to eat at the on site Pinmar restaurant. We walked in at around 7:45, and the place was teeming with young people clearly an organised meal for a large group staying on site. But the staff were extremely helpful and fitted us in, sitting at one of the tables in the bar area. It was a buffet style meal, so we joined the queue and selected our food, which included tasty chicken in a creamy sauce and a tuna pasta meal. There were also a small selection of desserts, and coffee. All for 15 euros. Later in the week we ordered a takeaway meal from the main menu. Our selections included piri piri chicken, fried steak, and spaghetti bolognese. This wasn’t gourmet food, but it was tasty and the portions were more than generous. And it was great value less than 35 euros in total. The staff also lent us a couple of wine glasses, because there were none in our apartment. A very kind gesture. If you are staying at Pinhal da Marina, you should definitely give the restaurant a try. It’s so friendly and welcoming, and incredible value."
