"Meal was good all in all. Had the Jaeger Hackbraten. All in all it lacked a bit of depth. It was umami and hearty, I missed a bit nuance in the midtones, though. The spaetzle were ok. The mushrooms were pure texture in the sauce, which had enough salt but missed a bit of clear direction. The schnitzel at the next table looked superb btw. At the end I paid a bit more than I expected from the prices in the menu. I had a small salad, though, but that had to come in at six or seven euro or something (which is too much for that tiny platelet in my opinion. But let's be real, good food, fair price and solid service. Will be back for Schnitzel next time."

"The Geiger Salber Restaurant is located in the centre of Mannheim, centrally located, but somewhat hidden and therefore very quiet. We had the five-course menu with the addition of savory fish. Beautiful backyard with various herbal plants as a natural decoration for the eyes and soul. Ideal for summer evenings sitting outside and chilling. The food was good for eyes, for palates and for the soul. The condition was friendly, but not intrusive. The Riesling of Pfalz was also very good, tastefully comparable to the Riesling from Rheingau. For white wine drinkers was a pleasure. The ambience was romatic, simple and beautiful. A beautiful summer evening I spent here and Geiger Salber is a hiking tip for all palate friends and deserves 5 stars from me...."

"To please the few vegetarians who are here like me, this place adds a few Bland elements in the menu, so that they also appear to the vegetarians to be buried. but like all Germany, this place has hunger. the soup was nothing but some pieces of spasm that were thrown into a bowl of boiling milk. the rocket salad with mozzarella was dry and bland. the glass of the local rose was good. the only reason I had eaten here was because I was here, a nd was too lazy to go outside."

"In the Friedrichsfeld district of Mannheim, closer to Heidelberg than to Mannheim, the timeless ambience inside the restaurant did not convince me to find something bodice, not contemporary, for the food, beer garden and service all the more. Since the restaurant is always well visited, you should never come unannounced because the klapt is almost never. Offer is an upscale bourgeois cuisine supplemented by regional dishes and dishes that change seasonality. For vegetarians and small guests, however, children's card and playground was also thought up, as well as a lunch table invites you to a fast and good and cost-effective lunch. In summer you can take a place in the shaded farm, which is also covered with sun sails. Since that time I was invited to the Christmas dinner of our company, I would like to taste the rest of the excellent food repertoire, because they are certainly worth another visit. Had Boeuf bourguignon with homemade herbal noodles and winter vegetables wonderfully tender, even the rest of our team was enthusiastic, and surely the Friedrichfelder Hof won some new regular guests."
