"Love 'em. Always buy some when in Sydney then find a bench and savour the sights as I eat. A good place to sit is on the grass in front of the Contemporary Art museum. You always get a healthy helping of fish n chips, too big maybe but my wife is not with me so I can pig out. Great salads too."

"Disappointed ... we had reasonable hopes this would be a good place based on the reviews. We found 2 hairs in our lamb dish unfortunately this put us off for the rest of the night. They replaced our dishes but they didn’t seem fussed nor apologetic , must be the normal order of business. If this happened in any other restaurant , they would be appalled. We were at a beautiful French restaurant the other night , and they forgot an entree and were having kittens. Seemed like they didn’t care here... the waiter was heavy handed too, few times I thought our bottle was going to fall over and break. Anyway , no apology, average food. No thanks not returning ."

"Newly opened, Costi offers up a range of fishy treats to the lunchtime crowd. In line with the current trend to healthy eating, they have some tasty looking salads for those that can bear to eat their fish without chips. Not me, fish and chips go together like salt and pepper, Amal and George, you get the picture. Unfortunately I was not that impressed by Costi's fish and chips. The anticipation of a ritually fatty salty lipsmacking feast rather outstripped the actual experience."
