Nice spot right on Darling Harbour but was surprisingly quiet for a Saturday lunch at 2pm. Menu read very well and there was some great dishes on the menu. Jamon Croquettes, pulled pork and burnt but ravioli, pumpkin were the standouts for me with the lowlight being the chicken liver pate which looked disgusting and apparently didn’t taste much better. What Raquel Gottlieb doesn't like about Cafe Del Mar:
Excellent view of Darling Harbor. Drinks were mainly good as the friendliness of the staff. The food was on a decent standard, though is quite expensive for the given amount; Immackage as a first-class location in the CBD is already a large point of sale. View all feedback.
The food was really good and so was the ambiente. it was very pleased.
So a good place. the slowly baked bark meat and the Scott-Füller were fantastic and delicious. loren also made a big difference, she was so friendly and friendly. I'll be back soon.
The reason I didn’t rate the service as good or excellent is not because of the staff who served us. He is actually excellent. The really disappointed thing is the security guard at the front desk. He is absolutely very rude and impolite. Also I don’t understand why he needs to check our identity document. I actually wonder why he has such authority to check our personal information while the waiter told me that he is not hired by the restaurant. We kicked off the dinner with such annoying people but fortunately the food and staff are excellent which made my family have a nice time eventually. I suggest the restaurant management should review this arrangement.
Fabulous food. Nice size portions. Staff efficient and helpful. Lovely views. Perfect for drinks and tapas or a bigger dinner
We went on a weekday during lunch, and it was nice and quiet. The Risotto was very nice, and possibly one of the best risottos i've had in terms of taste and presentation. We also had the Beef Cheeks which was slow cooked, but lacked a bit of seasoning and wasn't all that special. The goat truffle croquettes were not bad but a bit pricey for 5 small balls. Then we had the dessert The Moon . it looked very impressive, and made for fantastic photos, but the taste itself were only average, the chocolate being quite grainy and not smooth. We were lucky enough to have the *most* of the food at 50% off, but I probably wouldn't come back to pay full price.
