"It was my first time going to this restaurant, staff member by the door was engaged with customers buying take out. We walked in and sat down. Staff were quite rude that we had seated ourselves, but nobody asked us to wait, and we couldn't see any sign asking to wait by the door to be seated. Didn't make me feel very welcome, despite apologising and saying we didn't know we were supposed to. Food was expensive and small portion, but arrived quickly. All in all fine, but personally I won't be returning."

"On our first trip to Great Britain two years ago, I remember eating breakfast at a Carluccio's, I remembered so vivid that when we came back in September, I refused to go without going back. We went to another place this last time, but our experience was the same. You're sincerely making the best eggs Benedict I've ever eaten. I can't eat it in Canada anymore because it's just not the same. I love her beans too! The gray tea they serve is different from most I tried, I wish they sold it because I could find nothing similar in the shops. Servers are pleasant and it is nice to buy after our meal for gifts and snacks. I recently tried her cocoa meringue and love me, it didn't take long. Every trip to Britain is accompanied by a meal here!"

"What a beautiful place to have lunch, lives up to the name. The background music the plants and the food made it a great experience. Me and the girlfriend had The Vegan Eggs Benedict and The Smoky Beans. So tasty and very well priced for the quality of ingredients. Sean was our server, he was professional friendly and very funny. Overall a great experience I will be back"

"We know coffee in Exeter and have hesitated to check out the reputation at Gullivers; could it be that good? Wow!! very personal service (nice to meet you G) fantastic generous coffee and superlative cakes. We don't like the seating (too squashy for old fogies)...but a minor nag, we will be back!!"

"Nice open bar with welcoming laid-back atmosphere. Staff were very friendly, service was great and staff offered advice and background on the local drinks the bar features. Great Orme Brewery Welsh Black is highly recommended. We had desserts too, which were of great quality and generous serving sizes."

"We came here for the first time yesterday. .absolutely loved it! Great decor , friendly staff and atmosphere and the food was amazing! Had my first Seitan cheeseburger and it was delicious as did my partner..kids loved their meals too..worth travelling across the county for! :"
