"We are new in the area and that was a delivery order that was a third party. Chicken Lo My 2/5 We have seasoned it. However, the vegetables used in it tastes like a can or simply does not rinse. Mapo Tofu 0/5? Yeah, that's nothing like that pictured on the online order menu and looks like big tofu swimming in a clear soup. Baked rice 2/5 Fair simple, with not a single vegetable on the whole side. The only piece not rice stained was a piece of fried egg. That's not an exaggeration. Crab Rangoon 4/5 This can be the only delicious item in the menu (as far as we are concerned. The filling is lightly spicy, with crab flavor mingled in decent size packs. Unfortunately, the victories themselves are tasteless, which accounts for fifty percent of each Rangoon. Verdict Crab Rangoon is aside, this place was simply not for us. The quality, the Mapo Tofu, which was clearly not so advertised and bland general flavors make this simply an attempt at your own peril type of place."

"Good. I was having a busy day and was about to hit the road and decided I better grab something quick since I missed lunch and wasn't sure I'd be getting dinner. So, I wandered into China Bowl at 2PM on a Saturday after shopping next door at Hy-Vee.<br/ <br/ Restaurant was empty when I walked in. No customers. Though, that's to be expected mid-afternoon in a strip mall restaurant. The owners kids were occupying a table in the dining room and entertaining themselves with electronic devices, coloring, and reading. This annoys a lot of people, but it's mostly a cultural thing. I don't mind it at all. It's the family business. In fact, I sort of expect to see it when I walking into a small privately-owned Asian restaurant during off-peak hours.<br/ <br/ I ordered the Sweet Sour Chicken (real adventurous of me) and an egg roll. Food arrived quickly and was piping hot. Visually, it was a rather boring entrée to look at, but it tasted good. It was basically rice and deep fried chicken covered in sweet and sour sauce. No veggies at all.<br/ <br/ The restaurant was a bit hot inside. It was as if they had already switched from A/C to heat for the year and now an unseasonably warm day had turned the place into a sauna.<br/ <br/ Overall, decent Chinese-American cuisine at decent prices. If I am in the area and hungry, then I'll probably stop in again."

"Good value and good food. the hotel is located in a strip-mall, a lot of parking. especially remarkable was the boggi, although I thought it was a little long for me. they were excellent. the chicken was cut into bites. the opening dishes of kim chi were delicious. I thought the plucked daikon would be the best of the six, could have used a seaweed."

"Had to come here because viral tiktok trend of fufu and egusi stew. When they opened, they stayed in. It took about 20-25 minutes to wait because I suspect it was homemade. Oh, my God, it was worth waiting. Fufu reminds me of Mochi. And the stew was very tasteful. The portion was large for an average 130lb person. It could be 2 portions. Would recommend 10/10."
