"Mola is truly a gem in Pittsburgh. I consider it a top 5 restaurant in this city, and it?s family run! You honestly will not get fresher, better quality fish for price. After speaking with the owner and chef Alex, I learned that the fish is sourced and shipped directly from Japan I?m not surprised! Through the many times I?ve visited, I find they often have hard to find, seasonal fish on their menu just check out their instagram or their blackboard for what?s in season or available at the moment. The way they handle their rice is different from what you?d normally see at other restaurants too! You might think that it?s brown rice because of the colour, but if memory serves right, the rice was actually prepared by soaking in red vinegar to give it that delightful, delicate complementary flavour to their fish. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu, and I am saying this as someone who has lived in Japan (and currently lives in NYC). Mola is spectacular and I hope they open more locations!!"

"This was my second visit, first one was during lunch hour when there was only outside dining or pick up and second for dinner. (Dine in). Prices does increase between $5-$10 with larger portions after 3p.m. Service is always great and so far, food quality, temperature and taste was good. Decor is nicely done and lighting is perfect. Only reason I gave a 4 not 5 star was based on the cleanliness of the bathroom. Toilet seats were not wiped and toilet paper on floor. I stepped into 2 before choosing the 3rd stall. Otherwise, not pertaining to the service or restaurant seating area, very good place to dine at."

"This is a hidden gem of an Asian bakery in the Pittsburgh area. They have so many delicious desserts like mochi and crepe cake, plus fantastic boba. I really enjoyed the chocolate crepe cake and my wife enjoyed her mango mochi. The boba used for the bubble tea has a softer, more delicate texture than most boba I’ve sampled, which I really enjoyed.The workers are friendly and professional and the whole shop has a charming appeal to it. Definitely recommend for some hard to find confections in Pittsburgh, even if it is out of the way for you. Totally worth a special trip!"

"Pork cutlet curry with scallops hand roll. Definitely recommend hand roll. Sushi rice is on point with the sourness. The cutlet might need more salt but the outside is crunchy. Curry taste good as well."
