"We visited the silvester for dinner, as I always notice how busy this restaurant will be, it seems really popular among the locals. we have one of the banquets and were impressed by the amount of food we have served. the brot, chips, auberginen, salat and saganaki came out quickly. I was glad that they slowed down a bit and that meat or seafood didn't bring too fast, as it felt pretty glacial. high points of the meal for me were the saganaki and the aubergine, they were delicious. the chips were not needed and were not good, either the brot was enough. the calamari was under seasoned, but nice enough and the meat plate was very delicious. we also didn't get a coffee that was a part of...read more"

"I think a had the best souvlaki of my life in this restaurant. The lamb is real lamb, and it is roasted on coal. The size of the sandwich is pretty decent. Price is a bit expensive for a sandwich, but the quality is definitely here.The waitress is always smiling, which makes everything easier."

"Friday night quick takeaway order was anything but quick. The staff appeared to look like they didn’t know what they were doing. Our small order took 30 minutes. I go regularly to the Fitzroy restaurant and this Ormond store does not compare at all. Whoever is the manager needs to employ more front end staff as customers were neglected over the many uber drivers. Worst experience never again."

"Not far past the new station is this lovely local cafe we had a tasty lunch pre Christmas. We sat on the roadside tables as there wasn't space inside, and table configuration is probably not as efficient as it could be. Great menu, I had...a delicious lamb wrap with slow cooked down lamb and glass of wine. The cake and slice display was inviting but sadly we didn't have time. Great friendly service, very attentive. Would definitely return!"
