"I’ve traveled to several countries throughout the Mediterranean, as well as, Dubai. I can honestly say that there is NO gourmet dessert cafe in all of North Carolina that transports me back to those locations like Asali does.Their seating layout/options, decor, and vibe are everything! They create, make, and bake all their desserts in house (Tip: research the couple’s humble beginnings in 2000.)Their coffee beans are from a popular local roaster, and their baristas actually make your drink with a La Marzocco espresso machine (unlike the big chains).Their staff is welcoming and the amount of unique desserts, savory bites and drinks are to die for. I love their Turkish/Arabic coffee!The cafe is conveniently located in Cary at the intersection of US1 US64. The shopping center offers plenty of parking with several restaurants offering lunch and dinner options in case you plan to make an afternoon or evening out of your visit.We all have unique palates and flavor preferences, so you may not like everything here. For example, they have this mango-lemon bar and raspberry bar that are delicious, but I’m not that crazy about them. Does that mean they’re bad? No, I just don’t prefer them like I do their carrot cake, baklava cheesecake, chocolate tahini tart, or cheese kenafa. The good news is they have so MANY option to choose from, so you will end up discovering a lot of items you will love."

"They are always very friendly when I go. I have a sweet tooth and celiac. gluten-free bakeries are only a few and far between. on the other day I bought a chocolate chip cookie and coffee cake, and they were both absolutely delicious. much better consistency than the gluten-free baked goods used in. When I first went, I got chocolate cake. it was incredibly damp. I'll wait for the day I'm going, and they have something again."

"As a vegan, Whole Foods is pretty much my go-to grocery store for all those quirky ingredients I need to cook with. I really appreciate their produce and bulk food section. They usually have quite a few labeled vegan items on their buffet (my personal favorites are their biryani rice, chipotle tofu fajitas, and chocolate mousse made with tofu). Their deli has a decent hummus wrap, too. I only wish they had some WFPB items as their cooked foods are a bit greasy."
