"13th of August at 4.30pm we went to Chez Fritz. There were not many people at the terrace but we had to wait at least 30min to get a drink. As we liked the place very much we thought we could have dinner there. We...wanted to see the menu and asked the waitress if there is a table for 3 for dinner available at the terrace. She told us that everything is already fully booked but we could sit inside but we have to wait which table is available, the briefing is at 6pm and the kitchen will open at 6.30pm. Nothing happened, we wanted a second drink, nothing happened, so I went to the reception. They looked very busy but I did not know why. Finally we got the menu but we could not order another drink and talk to somebody if we get a table or not. Then we saw that more and more people were coming, they got their drink quite quickly and we had the feeling that we are not very welcome here. Maybe we were not the people they like to have in this upper class place. They think they are something better but than look at their restrooms, they were in a really bad shape, not clean at all. As they did not noticed us anymore we changed our plan to have dinner there and decided to go to another place. As the waitress realized that we are going to pay, she was asking us if somebody was here because of a table…..she said: I am very sorry, bla bla bla…… we told her that we are leaving and that we have the feeling that we are not very welcome at this place. We think they do not need guests and have to be very polite because the location is excellent and I think in summer they are fully booked all the time. I will never come again to this place, they are very snobbish and rude (this is not the right word but it comes close to)"
