"Okay this is the first time I have written a negative review on Trip Advisor. I am not one for complaining however I felt that this could not go amiss. I have written 2 previous excellent reviews on this restaurant over the last couple of years. Approximately 4 times a year we have an overnight stay in Limoges due to an early morning flight back to the UK. Found San Marco back in 2016 and have visited on every occasion since, but will not be returning. We visited at the end of July (the 25th) to be precise. It is a very different experience in the summer compared to the winter as they open up their huge lovely terrace. Okay here goes. We were seated on the outside terrace table wobbly but I can put up with that. Ordered our drinks and had to ask for them 3 times We were left menus and also the specials menu which was just simply left on a board on the floor by our table none of the dishes were explained which they usually were. Ordered our meals, a pizza and a pasta dish. Then it just went downhill from there. We noticed that people being seated after us were getting their starters and main meals before us this was witnessed on at least 7 tables. Asked the waitress where out meal was she apologised then we couldnt get her attention for another 20 minutes. Asked again. Finally an hour after ordering the meals came. Pasta dish was good but boy the pizza was probably the worst we have ever had. It was quite obvious that the pasta order had been forgotten and the pizza had been sat on the hot plate for probably 45 minutes resulting in the pizza base being dry and like cardboard and the topping dry. Why on earth they didnt just make a new pizza when they realised they had forgotten to cook the pasta! Made a complaint to the waitress, this was never followed up. Decided not to wait and order a desert. When it came to pay the owner, who is usually hands on he was just stood behind the till taking the money big mistake in the past his customer services has always been excellent. There was a queue at the till 3 people in front of me and 2 behind. Having limited French I had already googled what to say in French re my complaint, however he just handed the bill didn't ask if everything was ok and not wanting to embarrass myself in front of the people behind just paid it and left. Being in the food retail trade quality of food and customer service should be consistent. I am afraid both went from a 5 star rating to a zero rating after this visit. 2 gin and tonics, a bottle of wine, a pizza and a pasta over 100 euros with poor quality and service rip off! Its so sad to see businesses capitalising on tourism and losing what they have acheived when they had got it so right."

"We went with my girlfriend to Granny Bigoude Limoges We enjoyed ourselves, a well served advice, a rather atypical setting and especially very generous portions and a welcoming staff! Burgers, cakes and salads are waiting for you! We felt like at home that I asked them to take some photos with my camera and I share these photos from their restaurant that I could take! "Decided to head here due to the reviews on trip advisor and we were not disappointed. All four of us opted for the €19 brunch option- this included: hot drink, juice, (amazing) scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese or meat plate, bread and dessert. The service could not be faulted. A great choice for brunch."
