"There was confusion at check in because the restaurant had canceled our reservation but they were able to seat us quickly. The grilled cheese was very garlicky, unexpectedly, and that was unfortunate for someone who was hosting a number of outside visitors to campus events that day."

"We celebrated a birthday. While just three in our party, we all agreed that our food was wonderful. We all had seafood two were salmon dishes and one was the deep fried haddock. The bar served the best Brandy Old Fashioned Sweet I've had in a long time. The restaurant offered a dessert (on them for the birthday a choice of cheesecake, Key Lime Pie and I forget the third offering. Cheesecake was chosen and it was served with sweet/tart cherries (perfect! and three spoons. We were all so full, that most of it was packaged up to go, to be enjoyed the next day. Definitely coming back!"

"Overall this place impressed me. Only two comments is the doner kebab bites felt sub-par for the price and the server seemed to over-explain every dish and cocktail. However, the entrees were absolutely delicious. We ordered the Duck Confit, Steak, and Duck Breast and wanted to lick our plates clean. The chocolate mousse for dessert IS A MUST. Best dessert I’ve had at a Madison restaurant!"
