"We had carbonara and bolognese pasta and peasant salad. All 3 dishes really tasted bad. The pastas were over cooked and bland. The meat in the peasant salad were very disgusting and very greasy. We waited also a very long time to be served. The waiter was a bit kind and when we told him that the food was not good, he did not charge us for the bread. A meagre compensation but at least a little gesture."

"This is an authentic local restaurant - albeit that half the diners are probably tourists. Clean simple decor, welcoming service, a few dishes of the day to supplement a small menu and the food hearty, delicious and plentiful. My dish of pork cheeks, the secret pork and the fried fish were all fresh, well seasoned and well cooked. They were accompanied by fresh salads, potatoes, chips and green beans. Those who managed to find room loved the baked apples for desert. And.. the whole meal for 6 people, less than 70€. Amazing!!!"

"Da pouca oferta de pratos à escolha, às 13h de um sábado já não tinha disponível um dos pratos, sem estar indicado no expositor exterior. A visita foi também motivada para provar o "melhor bolo de chocolate do mundo", mas foi-nos indicado já não haver. Para terminar em grande, o pequeno espaço já lotado, foi invadido por asiáticos desenfreados que, perante grande inércia do funcionário, criaram tal incómodo e pressão que motivou o abandono apressado de vários clientes. A comida é agradável."

"Ne vous fiez pas à l'extérieur. Dès qu'on rentre, on a l'impression d'être dans un restaurant étoilé tant le cadre est agréable.Le service est excellent, le patron vient discuter et essaie de répondre au mieux à nos attentes.Nous avons opté pour un risotto au homard... un régal. Avant de le cuisiner il nous l'a montré, vivant, et expliqué comment il allait être préparé.Je retournerai à Obidos ne serait-ce que pour manger là-bas.À recommander les yeux fermés."
