"We were looking for somewhere to eat staying in the local area and chose this restaurant as the food seemed reasonably priced. We ordered a pasta and a special (calzone). We really enjoyed the food. It 's a chain restaurant so nothing crazy or fancy, but it was really tasty, good sized portions and good value. If you 're looking for pizza/pasta dishes and aren 't fussed about a nice restaurant or 'french ' experience, this place will probably give you a really nice meal. Atmosphere in the restaurant was lacking; most other visitors were probably also there for convenience. The waitress was clearly busy and didn 't have time for pleasantries. We waited a while to have our orders taken and plates cleared. The wine wasn 't great and we didn 't get any recommendations from our waitress as she dropped menus on the table and vanished. Ultimately good food, but we weren 't tempted to go back given the choice around Vannes is so vast."

"Chose this place as an alternative to the more traffic-ed spots on Rue le Fontaine. The proprietor was very friendly and accommodating. We were fortunate to have a member of our party who was competent in French. While ordering wasn't much of a problem, the food that was brought to our table was barely warm and needed to be returned to the kitchen. That required a conversation we probably would not have engaged in English.Nevertheless, the food was heated and returned to us by both the proprietor and the chef. Both apologized and the chef provided a complimentary dessert. The fact that the food was not hot pretty much assured us that it was prepared in advance and nuked when called-for. Even so, it was of decent quality and presentation; and the price was reasonable - the bill for four of us (including wine, dessert and tip) came to about 60 Euro."

"C'est un bistrot comme on les aime ! les produits sont frais, les plats sont très agréablement équilibré en dosage, en épices, on voyage surtout avec les plats qu'ils concoctent. Sans oublier la bonne ambiance, la gentillesse du patron et des serveurs très souriants. On s'y sent vite très bien. On y reviendra toujours lors de notre passage à Vannes, c'est sur ! une adresse à ne pas louper"

"One of only a handfull of places open to eat on a Sunday evening, this place proved to be a good final choice. A wide menu, covering pasta, steak, pizza burgers. The burgers were very hearty served in a number of different ways, such as with camembert or racclette cheese, and came with chips, salad Italian dressing sauce for dips. The service was good but without been overhelpfull or friendly."

"Excellent small bar/cafe in the side street of the old town of Vannes. We ordered local oysters from the bay and Breizh Cola. The service was perfect nice, attentive and unassuming. The oysters were good. Recommend this place."

"Nous sommes allés manger a la villa valencia a vannes beaucoup de monde nous sommes arrivés tard dans ce resto très jolie cadre d'ailleurs reçus par le personnel nous fait patienter 20 minutes le succès je pense du retaurant d'abord les serveurs et serveuses super sympa par rapport a d'autres clients en entrée j'ai pris de la cassolette de haddock bien préparé puis le plat du poisson également du filet st Pierre avec du riz et ces petits légumes sublime rien à redire il faut il y aller je recommande"
