"I’m not usually one for especially recommending a coffee shop, but Take Five Café is certainly somewhere you should drop into if you are living in — or visiting — the Vancouver area. There are nine locations around town and we happened across the stand in the Pacific Center, where we shopping one afternoon and in desperate need of caffeine to keep us going.We found the espressos we ordered at Take Five to be absolutely fantastic. Strong, deep and flavourful Arabica with a really exceptional ‘kick’ that kept us going. There isn't much on their website to give insight into anything special going on, apart from carefully sourced beans (but all the coffee shops say that) but I genuinely cannot think of a time when I have had a better espresso. Very highly recommended — if you’re in search of coffee look out Take Five and make a special detour there to keep on rocking."

"Very sweet French bakery with yummy sweet pastries that I watched come fresh out of the oven. Staff are friendly and welcoming. I had a scrumptious blueberry bran muffin - yum! And they're huge, I saved half for later.They also do savoury lunches like Turkey panini's, quiche and focaccia. They also sell fresh bread, jams and hot coffee.If you're strolling along Davie St, you can't miss it. Great for a quick stop off whilst exploring Vancouver."

"Juliet’s cafe (jc) is just the ticket for a place to eat a bite, especially if you want to get in, write it from emails, or write more contemplative. jc, conveniently located in front of the burrard bridge in kits on cornwall, offers a good selection of freshly prepared sandwiches, on freshly baked, in-house brot and other baked, such as muffins, and a good selection of breakfast dishes. many come to JC’s to do some screen work, as it is spacey and quite quiet, and has a few plugs around, which you can access to recharge cells etc. groups also come to meet as there are large tables to gather. the man and the woman owners are courteous and friendly. I have settled in the regular selection of a tuna-cannafu sandwich, which is not so substantial and fresh. it costs $10:50. Sometimes I add a blueberry muffin at $4 – often a beer and sometimes a latte. you pay and order at the desk. jc is also comfortably open — daily from 8 to 15 o'clock published by s fuller"

"This place was highly recommended by a “Tour guys” person. Okay, not good. They have local beers, I’ve had a “Jerkface 9000,” from Parallel 49 Brewing (which I had to try just for the name) during a Happy Hour Monday. Fast and polite service. Mexi Vegan burger needs quite a lot of improvement, the patty is not even seasoned properly, the “salad” tastes good but is boring (mixed greens, shredded carrots and red cabbage with balsamic dressing), music isn’t overwhelming."

"Wouldn’t be fair to just say this is a coffee spot. Coffee, cafe, wine bar, sandwich spot, this place has it all. On top off the selection of very nice items;, you have a super modern, bright place to work, catch up with friends or...grab a quick bite. I had the best breakfast bagel I’ve ever had here and some overnight oats. Only wish there we more of these in town, certainly wish there was one in YYJ"
