"Really friendly staff and great coffee. Have had food from here a few times and it was good, but above all go for coffee as it is central and close to my work. Unfortunately, they are sometimes closed without notice, would be good if they were more consistent."

"We recently had lunch at the Greenside bistro. It was a quiet Saturday, as the weather wasn't very pleasant, so the bistro was not as busy as usual. We have dined there on a number of different occasions and have found the food to be of a consistently excellent standard. A couple of us chose the barramundi which was cooked to perfection light, crisp, golden batter, and tasty fish. Others chose the roast lamb, also an excellent choice. The bistro offers generous servings, great service and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended."

"This place advertises that it is open from 6 am. I came at 7:15 am hoping to get some breakfast. I was told the place was closed until 8 am because the owner was doing some catering work. Plus it was pouring with rain outside. Since I couldn't sample the food, I can only give this one star for decor. Shame, because I work next door at the hospital. Never going to bother with this place again."

"Visited the Turret Cafe during our visit to Ballarat. Quiet cafe on Sturt street with friendly staff and great food at an affordable price. Slight mix up with the coffee's however staff responded well when it was bought to their attention. All in all a pleasant dining experience."
