"This is a cute spot to meet friends for a tea/coffee and small snack. It is a cozy environment and the food is always good. My only complaint is the hours that it is open. It closes at 2:00 pm on Saturdays and closed on...Sundays and it closes at 4:00 pm on weekdays. Would definitely go there more often if it was open longer."

"Cherries makes a great, homestyle lunch. Their chicken salad sandwich is my favourite. The soups and sandwiches are fresh and homemade. Downsides are that the space is very tight and seating is very limited, especially during the lunch hour. It also closes early, which is unfortunate."

"Noticed this coffee shop from the parking lot near the train tracks and felt inclined to try a new place on the oft-taken journey from Victoria to Campbell River. Atmosphere: sophisticated yet relaxing. Food & Drinks: Our snack included a flavourful meat roll served with underlying salad, and a tasty lemon cookie with a creamy filling. The coffee was non-bitter and flavourful. The great discovery was that the personable owner/server also featured Sid Dicken's tiles. We left sustained for the trip with two tiles in tow."
