While visiting Duncan we stopped at this Tim's for coffee. We also tried the cinnamon rolls and they were great! Very fresh and tasty. The dark roast coffee is also nice. Friendly staff and fast service. A good visit. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Tim Horton's:
What a disappointment! We are travelling from the UK, and I had heard a lot about Tim Horton's and was expecting something a little different and a little upmarket. Instead, I can sum up this place in 6 words: appalling service; disgusting toilets; horrible food View all feedback.
This is a great place to get a coffee and a quick bite. It's literally the same as hundreds of other Tim's across the country. Very enjoyable.
The Tim Hortons by jysk is the WORST Timmies. If you want coffee or food, go to the Tim Hortons by Home Hardware or even the one by Walmart/ Ford. The one by Jysk not only gives frequent terrible service, but they also lied to...us that their window was broken only to have the manager say that they're actually training new employees. We watched 4 vehicles go past us on one side and didn't even have someone take our order or tell us that they'd be with us momentarily on the other side. Teach the employee customer service and that if they're on window duty, to ANSWER THE WINDOW IN A TIMELY MANNER SO YOU DON'T AGGRAVATE YOUR CUSTOMERS!!!! The Tim Hortons by Home Hardware gives exceptional service and always has service with a smile. that is all.
Fast service despite lineups. excellent food and coffee. gotta have my timmy's! ample seating available for a very busy place.
Ordered two bowls of chili and was told they only had one serving left. It was in the middle of lunch hour. The bowl of chili I received was cold and was served with only a half of a bun. I assumed they were running low. I won't be stopping off at Tim Hortons in Duncan any time soon.
I get that it is affordable, and I get that sometimes you just want a cheap and easy lunch, but I don't get how so many Canadians have bought into the crazy marketing of Tim Horton's manufacturing themselves to be the be-all and end-all of all things Canadian. The coffee is awful, and the fact that most people order "double doubles" should tell you all you need to know about the coffee. The food can be hit and miss but it is surprisingly expensive considering how low the quality is. If you're going to spend $10 on a soup, sandwich and drink, go support one of our many local cafes or restaurants instead.
