"Classic spot with great coffee. used books to browse and games. Loyal local following.Update...BUT ...what happened to the baked goods? When you have donuts or muffins they sell out quickly and people keep in coming in for coffee and look for a snack to enjoy. The banana bread and pumpkin bread are long gone, as are Lucky Platter's flakey pastries. The only consistent snacks are packaged cookies, and mediterranean pies. You have a loyal clientele. Can you connect with a baker in Evanston or wherever and make it yummy for your coffee connoisseurs? This place was vibrant after the Bros took over. Now it feels like a shell. Please do better. It's sad if I have to cross Bros K off my list."

"Food is great, service is good. Place needs extra seating area... I just don't like the idea of eating breakfast on a couch/sofa with family. I think.it should have been common sense last time I was there with my two toddlers."

"Oddest thing....I have been here TWICE. I come from out of town to visit my daughter. last time was in April 2023 and this time 10/2023. BOTH TIMES I ordered the eggs benedict and BOTH TIMES it was COLD!! Last time I was able to send it back and ask for WARM/HOT Food. This time, we had to rush as I had to get to the airport. WHY is the food COLD??? NOT good. I will not go here again."

"Since we are not Polish. My late mother got us hooked on these Paczki's treats. So, as a tradition we keep it going. And try 3 flavors then my older sister bought her 3 different ones and we share them by cutting them in half. And rate them. And next year we have our new favorites to buy. That's how we do it. We also bought 2 donuts to eat. We did this last year. Loved seeing their assortment to pick out ours. They were not that busy either. We decided to get them now verses on Monday or Tuesday which is Fat Tuesday and MARDI GRAS."

"This place is awesome! I love bagels but I had never had a sandwich from Einstein’s before. I wandered in on a bitter cold snowy morning and got a cheddar and tomato egg sandwich and a chocolate cookie and it warmed me up right away! The service was very fast and efficient and the staff were so friendly and smiley, it was all just a delightful experience! The sandwich was really fresh and hot and tasty and just perfectly put together and the cookie was not too sweet but had nice big chocolate chunks. Thank you to Bonnie for brightening up my morning"

"This is the 2nd time I ate here and for the most part the food is good. The greens are bland and the muffins are dry today. The catfish an macaroni is really good thats why I ordered again. But today I ordered cabbage an it had mixed vegetables mixed in it. Why?! If I wanted that I would have ordered them. I hate peas an cooked carrots! I was very disappointed in this. Other than that I will be back"
