"Two Sisters is a mainstay of Homer and hopefully always will be. Their ham cheese savories, chocolate rolls, and sticky buns are absolutely to die for. At the moment they have discontinued indoor seating and espresso, which is the only reason I give them four stars, since their indoor environment was absolutely lovely and the loss of it definitely takes away from the experience, but hopefully it opens up again soon and I can update this review!"

"Portside is a great small place to make your permanent coffee spot. They serve Kaladi brothers coffee and have great snacks to go with it. You also have a car ride through the good coffee easy to get on the way. Look at them and if you can sit down and enjoy the society of good people."

"I asked for a triple shot iced Americano. I had to go back and asked if they put 3 shots in it because it tasted like a strong tea and not coffee; to which they kindly answered yes. The only other time I have had a coffee like this was at a Starbucks (I am not a fan of Starbucks coffee). I was wondering if they used a light roast, most people will use a medium roast, and/or the way they pulled the shot? Oh well. I'm not going back but I hope if the owners read this review they will consider the roast of their coffee and/or maybe how their employees are pulling the shot."

"Love this place. Stopped off for breakfast one blustery winter morning and was warmly greeted by the owner who provided great explanations and service. The food was fantastic. Pannini breakfast sandwich was flavorful and well made, and the biscuits and gravy were some of the best I've ever had. These were only topped by amazing bacon and absolutely delicious, fresh roasted coffee! We really enjoyed the atmosphere and decor- you need to made sure you notice the ceiling! We'll be back. Probably tomorrow!"

"It's a great location on the Homer Spit. You'll have to look hard to find it because their sign is hidden behind foliage. The log cabin contributed to my experience. The crew was very willing to talk about the history of their shops name. I had a London Fog tea latte. They asked if I wanted the tea to steep. It took a little longer to make, but I appreciated the care taken for my drink."

"Simply Fresh is the best salsa I have ever tasted, anywhere. I love all levels, from mild to extra hot, and often eat a whole container in one sitting- it is that good. It is sold at the Saturday and Wednesday outdoor Farmer's Markets in Homer, as well as at special events in town. It is sold fresh or canned, and can be frozen."
