"Nice little coffee stand. Good coffee. A few vegan muffins and some quiche plus hand pies when they have them (usually after 10am for the pies). Limited seating. Parking lot. No restrooms. Credit cards Ok. Not accessible but they would probably come out to help take your order."

"Conveniently located near several condo complexes, hotels, the Coconut Marketplace, a 1 block walk to the beach sunrise. Best spicy chai latte I’ve had on the mainland or on any Hawaiian island. That’s high praise for me since I’ve won an international award for my chai recipe. Their espresso is dry, rich, lovely. Their cold brew packs a caffeinated punch! The beans are fresh, dark, complex leaning more toward toasted baked goods than fruity notes, are not burnt acrid like Whorebucks’ beans. They do not have whipped cream, so BYOWC if you want a con panna. The staff is friendly moves a bit faster than island speed, but could use further barista training to improve upon the customer experience. I’ve yet to see a non-paper straw in Kauai, so BYO metal straw for iced drink if you prefer a straw. Prices are reasonable."

"The service was friendly and the food was delicious! The ciabatta rolls were my favorite with sausage or the pepper and mushrooms. We got malasadas too and she makes the when you order so they are hot and fresh and so so good!"

"Java kai is a must when we visit kauai....this coffee shop is the best on the island! the breakfast sandwiches of the waffles are also so delicious coffee drinks! I also tried the delicious matcha man go smoothie! *so just one head up, they might have to wait a bit for sitting if they have more than two in their group."
