"Go somewhere else. Got here and was going to eat then looked at the menu which was overpriced for a cafe. So decided to just have a coffee then go somewhere else. Asked for the toilet was told to go up the road to the...public beach toilet. Seriously how do you not even have one toilet for customers. No hand soap at beach toilets. Won't ever be coming back. When I went to grab my Coffee the blonde girls attitude when I said I was shocked they didn't have a toilet was was just a Shug of the attitude of whatever. Whatever's don't get customers back through your door."

"Recently had breakfast with a group, very average meals for all of us.Avo on toast literally came out with a slice of toast and half an avocado on the side in its skin - do it yourself style. Could have done that at home.Refused to split the bill despite us being the only ones in the restaurant, which is fine, but no need to be so rude about it.Can't recommend."

"My kids and I went to Canteen on a Thursday morning at so it was not busy. Kids ordered kids pancakes, expecting at least and were horrified when small pancake doused in maple syrup came to them. After eating the pancake in...a second, my son asked for another and my daughter asked for a side of bacon. It was clear to the waitress they were for different kids, however, when it came out, the bacon was on top of the pancake. The waitress saw my kids’ horror (that they were touching as my son doesn’t eat pork) and said “I’ll fix that up for you” and took the plates away. She returned a minute later with them on separate plates B U T the pancake still tasted of bacon and the bacon still tasted of maple syrup!!! Disgusting service when you’re paying per kids’ pancake ie small pancake. Ended up paying a small fortune for a meal that was well below average. Needless to say, will not be back."
