"This is was a short stroll from my hotel and it was quite busy with locals so I thought it would be a good place to eat. I had avocado on seeded sourdough with lemon and seeds. I add bacon for $6 which was a little on the expensive side seeing as you only get 2 pieces. But it was absolutely yummy. I also ordered a large soy flat white – which for those who have soy know it is very easy to wreck a soy flat white. But it was so good. All up it cost me $19 which for Sydney standards I thought was pretty good. It is a lovely little cul-de-sac which you feel like you are in Paris with all the terrace houses around. Staff were really friendly and I would recommend these place to anyone. Only small so get in early."

"Visited this place with friends because I saw on IG they serve red velvet pancakes, red velvet, taro and matcha latte and a few other dishes. Since migrating here in Sydney, I have only tasted real red velvet in one of the cake shops and that was located in Mortdale. I was so excited to come to this place because I am in search of a great red velvet dish. Unfortunately, this place did not deliver. Their red velvet offerings tasted like cherry, which at some point, tasted like medicine. Real red velvet should taste like cocoa powder as how the Americans create theirs. Although food that they offer are pleasing to the eyes, another dish I have ordered, Shakshuka, lacked in seasoning. However, I was happy with my matcha latte. The servers were just a bit blase and were always in a hurry as the shop was busy. They have enough seats but it was quite cramped inside. The owner however, was very pleasant and was asking our opinion about the dishes we have ordered."

"Unfortunately, as a vegetarian I hardly have any choice at McDonald's, so I treat it purely as a cafe and dessert joint. <br/ <br/ It was a Sunday night, when I headed in here to grab a dessert or a drink. This place has a lot of seating with decent ambiance, but it was still pretty crowded. ordered an Oreo McFlurry, It was served quick, and tasted pretty good. But I somehow felt that something was lacking, compared to the McFlurry. "Just to make it clear, guys: You do not go to Soma for vegan food. It doesn't have a lot. What it HAS is excellent, don't get me wrong, but it's limited. What you go there for is the coffee. They won best café in 2011 and are consistently brilliant. Staff are friendly and cordial, the vegan muffins are great, and the coffee is to die for. Again, gang. DO go here. Just know why. And why is the coffee. Because the coffee is really good."
