"We ate here last weekend. We were looking forward to some good seafood. The atmosphere was very nice and the service was great. My husband had the seafood platter. It was good but nothing special. I had the cod tongue dinner. Cod tongues were tasty....It was served with mashed potato that was not very flavourful. The temperature of both meals was just warm not hot. Desserts had great potential but had a taste like it was baked with something else savoury in the same pan or oven. Could be a good restaurant with a few improvements."

"Can?t give this a one star just because of the place it used to be. It used to be the best breakfast/brunch spot in town before they moved locations. The food itself is pretty good (although the fact that breakfast service is no longer all day is very disappointing). Now the wait for food is endless (current 1h30m waiting with about 20 people waiting ahead of us for food), wait staff while friendly seem to be more concerned about seating people for the long wait than anything else. I understand a business can grow and priorities can change but rename the place if you want to adopt a whole new identity."

"First off i remember the food being very good and cheap but today i ordered the seafood basket which im pretty sure said it came with calamari but there was none in site for 14.99 the portion was not very big and the sea food which i did get was oddlt sweet and not very fresh tasting overall a very disappointing lunch."

"Managed to squeak in just before closing after a long day of travel. We were greeted by friendly and inviting staff while being promptly seated. Didn't wait long for drinks and our meals either, which was nice. The environment was quite nice and the menu selection was adequate. Only real complaint would be pricing. Entrees seemed priced to the high side, so we settled on a selection of appetizers and some drinks. My wife didn't care for the thick consistency of her seafood chowder, but we've since realized it's how chowder is done in NFLD (we're used to a more soup based consistency, not the porridge style). Regardless, we enjoyed our meal here."
