"Had been here for lunch and felt like found India in joburg. Had a dal tadka which was proper dhaba styled. Chicken gets served with complimentary rice or naan and the portions are generous."

"So I went to this little gem of a restaurant for dinner with my family yesterday, after buying their voucher on Hyperli. Well let me just say, it was the best buy ever. The food was amazing, distinct flavors of the different dishes could be savored. I have been to other Indian restaurants, where you order different curry, but it seems all cooked the same way, in the same gravy. We did not have that here. The waitress Shanu, was the sweetest and most efficient server. The restaurant itself, was not very busy, however there was a steady flow of people doing take away orders. They are very reasonably priced and will suit every pocket. For starter we had the Andhera fried chicken, Chicken Samoosa, Chicken lolipop, and some chicken fry thing. Their portion sizes for those starter where quite generous, and we had to take them away in a doggie bag. For mains we had butter chicken, Chicken tikka masala, lamb vindaloo, and lamb rogan gosh. We were not disappointed with our choices. Will i go back ?????? HELL YAH. I am worried, its going to be my new favorite spot.... Seriously though, Pappadums, must be given a try."

"Quite different from the north Indian food we're used to in most places. The curry options are your general popular ones, and they have many other (grilled/fried) options as well. Ordered a medium-spiced J's platter and a side of chips. Amazing, amazing, amazing. Especially considering that it's from the food court, heehee. Great sauces, and well-seasoned meats with some lovely bread. I'd definitely recommend this to share with a group of friends."

"Ghazal on Peter Place is one of the restaurants I have been to many times,one that we almost take for granted because it’s always there,the food is always good and the experience is always good.We often order take aways,and tonight was the same,except that once we arrived home and started our meal,we realized something wasn’t quite right with the order.We called Ghazal to inform them of the issue and happily resolved our problem.Ghazal Bryanston does not do deliveries,nor are they on Uber Eats or Mr Delivery,notwithstanding that,their manager Stanley was willing to drive to our place and to deliver the replacement meal.These actions and attitude with which the manage handled the situation is truly exemplary.I am particularly grateful as I am pregnant and we were not inconvenienced in any manner.Thank you thank you,thank you!!We will happily continue to support your restaurant."

"Great food, in a small hidden shopping complex. They have a rocking butter chicken, I'm not one for spice but they do have the ability to bring the heat with flavour. If you catch them on a good Friday night they have an awesome guitar soloist who really keeps the vibe and can make a great night if you bring friends and family. They do delivery as well, and the pricing is really good.."

"This is by far my favourite restaurant in jozi! The food is, without fail, always tasty and delicious. I love Indian food and the food at ghazals maintains it's standard whether we're getting take outs or dining at the restaurant."

"I love this little gem! They have amazing curries and food at a more reasonable price than The Raj. My favourites are the lamb vindaloo and chicken korma- so delish. Restaurant set up is a little dark at night but we had such a lovely waiter and service was great. If you want to host an Indian night at home, order from here and have your friends marvel at your amazing cooking skills; !"
