"Visited one Sunday and found they do a buffet menu til 8pm, as I'm not a lover of Indian buffets, always find them basic, but had a look and was surprised to find most of what I would have ordered was available. Good food and service with a nice atmosphere, would definitely visit again."

"Came here on a good referral from a friend and I was not disappointed. The food was delicious, you can see it being made fresh after you’ve ordered and their menu has some good additions compares to other local Indian takeaways. Highly recommend the Jeera...Lamb if you like a heavily spiced but not hot curry that’s full of flavour! If you love cumin like I do, you’ll love it! Chips are great and I don’t really like chips on the whole. All around it was fantastic. Really reasonably priced as well"

"Diplu's is one of our favourite Indian restaurants. My partner and I booked a table for Valentine's night. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and they have lovely traditional music in the background. The staff are very courteous and welcoming. Once sat at the table, which was decorated with a sprinkle of red glitter hearts, we were given free champagne. We had chicken saag, lamb biryani, lamb madras and keema naan. Thoroughly enjoyed and will definitely be back soon. Many thanks"

"I pre ordered a take away meal to be delivered on new years eve. It was ordered on 29.12.21 as I knew the restaurant would be busy. The meal was delivered on time but had several items missing (around £19 in value) I phoned the restaurant straight away incase the driver had maybe missed a bag. No. I had apparently received all of the order. I explained what was missing and offered to drive to the restaurant to collect the rest. After several calls back and fore I was eventually told that there were around 20 orders in front of me and they could not tell me when my missing items would be ready to collect. I was told a senior manager would ring back with a specific time. I had no phone call and did not receive the missing food. I have subsequently emailed and sent a messuage via Facebook messenger. I have previously contacted the restaurant via messenger and have always had a prompt response. This time....nothing. I have previously experienced good service and lovely food from here, but I will absolutely not be bringing my custom here in future. A response to an e mail or mesaage shouldn't be too much to expect. This is such a shame as I have always enjoyed the food, and I have always found the staff helpful in ensuring that specific dietary needs are met. I will not however give my custom to a business who seemingly cares so little about its clients. I would rather support a business that takes pride in their work and ensures they deliver a good service (and deliver what the customer has paid for)."
