"Incredible food with a cozy atmosphere. There was a lot of flavour in the food, and it was served fresh and hot. The poutine had real cheese curds, and I love their choice of potatoes (Yukon Gold, a favorite of mine). I've lived nearby since they opened but never stopped in, and I'm so glad that I finally did."

"Came with a group of friends for drinks and some food in the evening. First of all, the bouncer was quite rude when asking people to line up. The inside is dark and dingy, and staff were lingering around, apparently watching guests. Food tasted good, but we found the prices quite high ($13 for poutine). One friend was also denied drinks, even though she had very little to drink. She has an accent ... after reading the review from August 2016 alluding to unequal treatment of a person with a disability this recent event brings up some questions...."

"Second time here. Just as good as the first. Incredibly fresh seafood. Oysters are top notch (about $3 each). I had a monk fish dish prepared with curry over rice as the market catch. Just excellent. This is a place I not only like to go but also one I would think of to recommend to others or take others. Well done!!"

"Reviewing a number of restaurants recently, I have finally found some good fish and chips. Light crisp batter and a huge piece of fish inside. Staff are great. We have been there many times for great food experiences. Staffers actually sit and chat, nice relaxed atmosphere."

"Well it's A & W and they have quite a history. Started in 1956 here in Canada where they were a drive in fast food restaurant. They started in the US in 1919 as a root beer stand and grew from there. The A&W root bear mascot was started in Canada and later adopted by the US company. The Canadian A&W is a separate company from the US and international branch. Google the history for more interesting facts.The uncle burger is my favorite, very tasty and juicy and the fries are better than most fast food outlets although not as good as fresh cut IMHO. The root beer in a frosted mug is the best I have ever had and I rarely drink a root beer any other place as it's always a disappointment compared to an A&W.This location is in the Burlington mall and is fine although I prefer the newer stand alone retro style restaurants."
