"My Go to when I come to Rotorua. I've been here 4 times now, I will never Miss the opportunity to come here for a meal. This is also where I discovered the best chocolate ice cream in the whole wide world Dr.Good , highly recommended."

"Had the vegan chicken tacos. Not really a chicken substitute, was mushy and could have been Jack fruit. Not much flavour and I thought it was expensive for what was served. Best thing was the coriander on top."

"I was pleasantly surprised to find this caffe after diving in the lakes and needed a beautiful hearty meal to fill me. I was thrilled to see how many vegan options it was on the menu, as well as some sweet tasty in the cabinet that were also vegan. I had the Tofu band mi and it was super tasty and fill. I hope they add even more vegan options."

"Tea and Happiness is a perfect gem of a restaurant. Any city worldwide would be lucky to have such a friendly, delicious and creative restaurant call it home but even in Rotorua, a beautiful place with so much to do, we were totally drawn in to the warm community atmosphere and delicious menu of Tea and Happiness. The proprietor was an extremely warm and helpful person, the kind of person you'd love to call your friend after eating here once. The salad bar is so much more than I could imagine a salad bar would be, with inventive and colourful ingredients and many hot offerings. The tea menu was extensive and the serve-yourself, always-ready pots of chai and green tea were perfect touches. We had the 3-dish sampler, 2 mains, and dessert, and almost wanted to get another plate of salads because it was so difficult to choose. Servings are generous! We just ate enough for about 4 people between the 2 of us. I can't recommend Tea and Happiness enough. If you are vegan or vegetarian and find yourself in Rotorua this is your happy place."
