"I wouldn't recommend this restaurant at all. They call it Nepalese, but it's just a fancy name for Indian food that I love. There are many excellent Indian restaurants here, but this is not one of them. Firstly, there were no other customers when we got there. Two parties came in after us and we are looked after before us. We expressly told the waitress everything mild. When we ordered a birayani she forgot to tell us until we complained that it is always spicy. We started with an inedible lentil soup. It was cold and salty. We asked for hot tea and she said they had gone out that afternoon. Our chicken tikka was all sauce and very little chicken. We sent it back and told them to add more chicken. The shrimp dish was the same - all sauce and hardly any shrimp. The sauces over the rice were pleasant, but overpriced for how little you got. We enjoyed the starter of Mo MO and the Chana Masala. I love Mango Lassi, but they just poured it out of a 1 gallon container. It was probably pre-made in the supermarket. Don't go here when we have such a large and diverse Indian community with excellent restaurants across the region."

"One of my favorite Indian places, I was so sad to see it recently closed and has been replaced with a dental office. We are all just dust in the wind. Luckily, the sibling Karma Kafe down the street is up to taking the mantle as the best Indian in Hoboken. Food here was always excellent, particularly the Chicken Goa, a slightly tangy coconut masterpiece. Great naan and samosas as well. Even my family who can't tolerate spice (I must be adopted) found the chicken tikka out of this world. The recent closing just reminds us that time is a cruel mistress and nothing lasts forever."
