"Fantastic breakfast place! We came here on Easter Monday at 10 so it was very crowded. We waited 15 mins for a table of 2. I ordered the vegan pancakes and my friend ordered the easter special- waffle french toast with loads of chocolate. The pancakes were pretty good (3.5/5) but were really tough and chewy. The icecream was amazing- couldn't even tell it was vegan! (4.5/5) The waffle french toast was OMG amazing (5/5) The french toast was oh so soft and the same coconut icecream was used :)"

"Been coming here for takeaway for years. Good size servings, and as my review title says food & service are always good. Prices are about average - noodles, stir-fry, etc etc - a good range available. You choose the "asian" style you want .Fresh-energy vegetables with chicken at $13.50 (without side of rice) - is always good. It is a chicken stir-fry & a tasty one is their 'Thai' style. No heat, you have to ask for that, so I do.The place isn't one with "atmosphere" for dining in, but you can do that. Roughly 8 tables inside & 3-4 tables outside under the awning.Oh, is not licenced."

"My parents normally go out to Brekky on Saturdays and a few weekends ago I decided to join them. Riverbend Cafe was absolutely packed!! We were lucky to get a table. <br>
There is so much variety on the menu, it was so hard to choose!! I ended up having the spicy caramelised mushrooms, with avo instead of eggs and a side of tomato. It came with a massive slice of sourdough which was super great with the avo and tomato. The mushrooms weren't super duper spicy but they were flavourful and yummy!! I also had an orange juice which was so sweet! <br>
Overall, my meal was great and my parents loved their meals as well. The cafe also does really good milkshakes and coffees. <br>

After brekky, I had a quick (it was actually more like a half hour!) look in the book store as well and ended up getting a book, yay!! <br>

I will definitely come with my parents when they visit Riverbend Cafe again, there's so many things I want to try on the menu!!<br>

Update: We returned once again for breakfast this morning, I planned on having the bircher muesli but on arrival found it is pre-made with milk :( Never fear! The kind staff offered to make me the ratatouille as vegan. It was lovely, the flavours were delicious and the baba ghanoush that came with was just as good!! My mum enjoyed the croque madame and my dad loved the vanilla bean risotto. Kudos to the chefs who were kind and accomodating to my dietary needs."

"We came to Cannon hill restaurant for a Birthday celebration. Half of the restaurant is in the semi-outdoor section. We have heard from the staff that the other part of the restaurant is currently under renovation. We had quite a few dishes, and the food...was tasty. Service was excellent, and the place was clean."
