"On a hot summer evening seeing water and greenery is welcome. Restaurant Laghi gives you that and more. It is found on Lake Curiel and when we visited we were hosted on the terrace overlooking the lake with the sound of water flowing. The calmness of the picture I front of us set the right eminence for perfect food. The service was good but became slow as the evening went on due to the large number of customers all local , which is the best advert in itself. It is best to call and book as it filled up fast. The menu has typical local specialities. We had the local salami and the 'Alici ' for antipasto .the Alici (anchovy) were simply delicious on a purée of artichoke and mayo. The salami were the local Nero di Parma which worth a taste. Next came tagliatelle with there own speciality the Yellow Sausage this is not to be missed as the meat of the Raghu is not the usual but something more! . We could have stopped there but as main I had the duck with fig sauce it was superb and cooked perfectly. My husband had the roast shoulder with chicory . It was good. The waiter was well versed with information on the local wine and food content and overall I would say this is a must try. Initially the place does not look great but the food puts it high on the list well done to the chef! Pricing is normal I would say as with wine and water the coast was 97 euro for 2."
