"Love the Thai box and the container. cheap and tasty. they need to know what to order, although the pad thai was not great as they use tomato paste that is strange. I recommend the green curry, chili basilikum tofu, Satay ripe and the early roll."

"Wonderful! Make sure they come here to eat, and make sure they are hungry because there is a lot of excellent food! a new restaurant for the first time to taste is always with nerves, especially a buffet where, if the eating is not good, they at the end a whole amount of money for not very much to pay. the night after hikari began very well, with a bright and cheerful reception of waitstaff, which took the time to properly explain how everything works. there are some simple sushis and fried chicken on the traditional self serving buffet line, but there is also an ala carte buffet. for this they receive two rounds of orders in the 90 minutes sitting time at their table. the basic strategy would be to try what looks delicious for them in the first round, and then back in the second and order more of what they liked most. eating was really high quality, and cooked fresh we were super impressed. it is a bit of a battle to remember all Japanese teller names from the menu, but there were some who stood as wonderful out there the teriyakihu, beautiful and crispy on the outside and juicy, sweet and tender in the middle. both bark meat dishes that we had were great as the Japanese pizza the sweet and hearty here very well mixed and it was delicious. the children and gattis loved all udon noodles who helped in a small enough that they left them a lot of space directed by others without filling them. big lovers of fresh salmon, we were stuck in the salmon and thunfish sashimi, which should be firm and silent as it should be. for the wasabi this was a high quality and gave the nase a good cleansing! on the menu they tell us that all they can eat is a one-load, no challenge. if they are waste they are calculated for the balance food as ala carte prices. we finished the night with a bit of ice, only 7 bowls among us four, so I felt that I left the team a little down. all in all, we had a really great dinner, and felt that we certainly get the worth of a buffet, which is not a feeling that I usually go from eating even silly style of eating. we will return to this bright, cheerful and tasty Japanese food, and would give it heartily a great thumb!"

"Highly recommend dinner here. We had Margaux looking after us and we really enjoyed the food and the very attentive service. All our various dietary requirements were taken care of with a smile. One of our group had an issue with the internet and Margaux got the original code for him and saved the day for him. Highly recommended!"

"I kept forgetting that portions in NZ are rather larger. Dishes here are no exception and we nearly ordered 3 dishes. We ordered the pork vegetables stir fried and duck curry. They are generous with the meat portion. In terms of taste, it’s authentically Thai. We asked for the higher spice level. It was delicious"

"The food we ordered was fantastic! The spice level on the carrot salad warmed us up on a cold night. The seafood lemongrass curry hugged us with its warmth and authentic taste. The menu is extensive and there's still so much we need to try. We can tell the food was prepared with care and love. Can't wait to visit again next time we're in town."

"Yum! Best sushi train ever! Yummy great variety of sushis and more food. There are some snacks for the kids too. Prices vary from the plate color. You can be full at $40 with small family or with a partner! Really amazing one of my favourites!"

"This cafe is nicely furnished and a superbly tranquil place. My goto place for raw treats (in my Top 3 ever) and the odd snack when nearby. Tried the cheesecakes and the charcoal burger and was blown away, it was so good."
