"Definition o Fusion Essen is perfectly represented here! Every dish you order has a touch of different cultures coming together on a plate. The pasta is made at home and just delicious! The salad bar lets you play with any ingredient you choose. Then there are several Asian types of food, noodles, hummus, falafel, asian style burritos, tikka masala, kung pao, masaman curry (best curry ever. If you want to walk casually with a burger and potato pumice, you will not be disappointed because there is only one delish: But ordering my favorite thing is definitely the RAMEN SOUP! They make homemade ramen paste and the broth is perfectly cooked with a lot of element in it like bamboo, mushrooms soya dipped eggs etc. Oh yes, I eat here reaaaalllly often I basically eat the restaurant of heart!"

"Just had a great lunch! First time here; we were strolling around Eroilor street and noticed a very chic sign outside and a sign showing us the directions towards a summer garden. Prices are great for Cluj, city centre. Porcini tagliatelle with blue cheese for...4 euro! Fantastic taste and not to mention service. Also great variety of lemonade. Try the cantaloupe one. Didn't have any desert but saw some fabulous ones given out to other customers. Highly recommend!"

"The only Chinese restaurant in Cluj consistently getting good reviews is Shenyang, also known among the locals who initiated us as “The Chinese Lady’s” “La chinezoaica”. You should be warned from the very beginning though – only go there if you fit into one... or more) of the following categories: 1. You are so into Chinese food or food in general) that when presented with a good meal nothing else matters to you 2. You have not seen friends in Cluj for such a long time that simply getting together over a Chinese meal makes it all worth it 3. You are so hungry, or broke, or both, you are willing to forego physical comfort for cheap tasty food 4. You have the patience and self control to wait 20 30 min for take away and either live close by or are brave enough to attempt re heated Chinese food If you do fall in one of the above categories, as we have been known to several times, then by all means you will enjoy Mrs. Xua’s home cooking at Shenyang. Let’s just say that, named after her 8 mil. inhabitants home town in North Eastern China, this little eatery is neither a luxury scale establishment, nor a place to take a first date to. It has only four or five glass and metal tables with orange pleather chairs, bright pink walls sporting amateur pictures of the food they serve and a price menu, a quasi open kitchen where Mrs. Xua herself can be seen cooking, no air conditioning in summer and almost no heating in winter, unless you are willing to count the tiny noisy heater resting on one of the tables. So your comfort should be disposable or at least irrelevant at the time you visit. Beyond that, anything you order will be really good compared to anything “Chinese” you’ve ever had in a Romanian big city restaurant that pretends to serve Chinese cuisine. Authentic? No idea, but the place had at least two ethnic patrons every single time we were ther, so they must know something. Tasty? Absolutely. And then some. Any of the jiao zi “potstickers” dumplings with pork, chicken, beef, mushrooms or egg filling) will be a delight, although we were partial to the pork ones. The chicken with peanuts, the chicken gizzards and hearts, the thick amazingly textured home made noodles with beef both varieties on the menu) are just some of our favourites. We strongly recommend any of them for their honest and harmonious flavours and their “Momma’s cooking” yumminess. What else? You will like the prices even as much as the food. Better hurry before it becomes too popular."
