"Worst service and disgusting food. I don't know how people are giving this place 5 stars. I ordered a simple beef brisket noodle soup. Asked the male server if they could make it more spicy, he just rudely said, no just use the sauce on the table. My friend asked the lady server for orange juice as it was advertised in the menu. She just said, no orange juice, he asked for becks beer. She goes we don't have it anymore. My food tasted pretty bland, I had to use soy sauce and the chilli oil paste which looked like its been sitting there for months no chilli just oil. I was hungry and extremely disappointed in this place. I've had similar experience at another Chinese restaurant. I refuse to spend money at a Chinese place again!I like my go Phoa, korean and sushi places .If the manager has read my review. Please train your staff to show some etiquette. This is Canada, they don't live in Beijing."

"Good food. However, the service is atrocious. First few dishes arrived reasonably, but as the place filled up, service not just slowed, but stopped. Some dishes we ordered were completely forgotten. Reminding the waitress about them did not help. Eventually we have up and cancelled a missing dish. If the place is more than half full, go elsewhere. In summer, the front is fully open, allowing fresh air to come in. This would have been very nice on a small street, but not so much on Broadway, a loud and busy road with frequent buses."

"This was our first visit and we had reservations for two people at 6:45 pm on a warm summery Wednesday evening. The front wall of the restaurant was open which provided a welcome breeze. We started with a couple of specials, the seafood salad ($18) and the sashimi platter ($25). The seafood salad had plenty of seafood and the vegetables were really fresh. It was large enough for two people to split. The sashimi platter had two to three pieces of six different of fishes which were nicely presented. We also ordered three different types of sushi - spicy tuna roll ($8), yam tempura roll ($6), and the California roll ($12). Each roll had six pieces. All three rolls were quite tasty.Tried the Motoyaki ($10), a baked salmon dish, which was delicious but I found the portion size a bit small. For dessert, we had the warm chocolate cake with green tea ice cream and the poached pear with salted caramel ice cream which were a delicious way to end the meal. For drinks, we had a glass of mango juice, a glass of wine, and Japanese tea. Total cost of the meal before tip was $110 and we were finished by 8:30 pm. Service was very friendly and prompt. They also had an Omakase (chef’s multi-course option) but it required 24-hour notice. We will definitely be back."

"My daughter and I tried Thai Chef as a quick meal between dance classes. We ordered the crispy wontons and crispy tofu. I have never had anything so bland, even with the dipping sauce. We also ordered Pad Thai that is a staple in most Thai restaurants. You can usually tell if they know what they are doing when you taste the Pad Thai. In this case, we got a plate of slightly underdone rice noodles, a few pieces of chicken and what might have been egg and tofu, an overwhelming taste of vinegar. Everything on the plate was a uniform off white with not even a hint of cilantro to add a touch of vibrant colour to the dish. Thai food is known for the way they balance between salty, sweet, spicy and textures of soft and crunchy. The vibrancy of colours on the plate are usually beautiful regardless of how inexpensive or expensive the restaurant may be. This place didn't even try. An overall disappointment both in food and decor."
