"I am always cautious using Chinese takeaways. However... The Silver Bowls food is absolutely delicious... Highly recommended the beef it just melts in your mouth. The portions size is amazing. The food arrives piping hot, service has always been fantastic... Other takeaways could learn a thing or two from them... Probably the best Chinese takeaway in Edinburgh..."

"Best Thai food in town. the first time in over a year and as good as it ever was. the interior seats are now only two large tables that are as far as possible from each other. superb satay and moo ping, singapur noodles to shame the rest. if they are not sure to just delete something on the menu, they will not go wrong."

"Very pleasant meal with my partner on our last night in Edinburgh. Fantastic selection of wines. We skipped main courses and simply opted for the cheese salato, the meat salato, bread basket, olives and shared a cocktail and affogato for dessert. The service was fantastic the cheeseboard and meatboard were explained to us, and the order of tasting recommended. We happily obliged and thoroughly enjoyed the homemade bread, balsamic vinegar oil. Our dessert was our favourite the espresso martini was the best espresso martini we've ever tasted, and we don't say that lightly!! The affogato was also to die for gelato rolled in meringue pieces, doused in fine coffee. Yum. Would definitely return."

"Coming from Sydney, I have had a lot of great Thai food in my life, and the food at Krua Khun Mae is just as good! A surprising treat I'm Edinburgh, and a refreshing break from mediocre London food. The massaman curry is a must have."
