"Good day people, after a very nice extended walk through eltville, we have returned to the restaurant osteria piccolo mondo and have also been assigned by a nice young service a table for 2 but when we order at a waiter coffee we were expelled from the restaurant because we didn't want to order a meal, then we came to an older service and then we would understand the word out. that is as cheeky as discriminatory that this restaurant has not earned the name restaurant and if that should be a training place, must be thought about the withdrawal of the trainer certificate"

"We stayed with 4 people in the Yellow House, which is beautifully located in the old town of Eltville. The house is an old building from the 17th century. Century, beautifully renovated and offers a nice backdrop. Largest trump is surely the covered terrace overlooking the vineyards on the Rhine. Here you can also sit comfortably outside if the weather doesn't play like that. The wine is good (recommendation: the semi-dry Riesling selection Yellow house but this is also expected in the Rheingau. The food (rieslingsüppchen, grillsteak or pigs Lende and salmon were qualitatively absolutely fine, but without special subtleties in performance and taste. The price performance ratio is fine, but I would like to consider the food as an average. It was annoying, however, that in the late afternoon we had reserved the table for the evening, so to speak, under the butt. On our question whether we will be thrown out, the service explained that would be so .I don't just think to ask if you still stay or if the table is available from the time in question, would surely be more friendly in the classical sense. Conclusion: A nice location to sit outside with beautiful views and one or more glasses of wine. In order to eat, we would no longer visit the Yellow House."

"Our trip this year to Etville At the Rhine was extra memorable, because we met with great people and had an authentic food...and a place we discovered was Than et Luc... a boutique Thai vetnamese joint in the center of the main shopping street in this area. It was so good..we almot had 1 meal a day there. The most outstanding thing we never ordered was the Thai Duck Curry and the Vietnamese Pho (a special Oreworm needed 24 to 48 Pre Order) and this unique wrapped vegetable snack with beef - a healthy beef roll.... That was for... The prices were reasonable and the portions were sisable and what made it a Tad Extra was the owner and host woman Than always made us feel at home, although we miles away with her candor and her humility and attention to details and our preferences. We just can't thank her enough that we are happy to feed back in 2018. We updated on their FB page and they are to a larger and rustic place (a former vintage hotel) just a few minutes walk from their previous location and this new place offers... Can wait!"
