"We had dinner here, for less than $50 we had entrees, main, and deserts Location is great (straight across the Gold Coast Aquatic Centre i believe the best pools in Australia, prepared for next Commonwealth games 2018), the staff was friendly, the food was fresh...and very nice presented... It was so satisfying experience that after few days we went there again for our next visit, only to find out it was not open on Monday night. However we managed to visit again the next day, and still had the same nice experience; very good quality food and excellent service. If you want to give it a try, here's the opening hours: Monday 11:30~14:30 Tuesday 11:30~14:30 17:30~20:30 Wednesday 11:30~14:30 17:30~20:30 Thursday 11:30~14:30 17:30~20:30 Friday 11:30~14:30 17:30~20:30 Saturday: 17:30~20:30 Sunday: Closed PS. as Japas (Japanese Tapas) they only have sake, BYO for wine."

"A family dinner out with different tastes. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient without hovering. Started with a selection of entrees the fish cakes and chicken curry puffs were the stand outs. The mains were individually absolutely delicious where nothing tasted the same...freshly cooked food at its best. The proteins were not overcooked and the spices and herbs provided an authentic thai flavour. All agreed it was lovely food at a great price."

"We tried this chinese restaurant whilst on holidays on the coast in early November.We had Fried rice, Beef Chow Mein and Honey chicken and a serve of spring rolls. We had the meal to take away and the price was quite reasonable and the service...was prompt. The dining area was nicely appointed with plenty of seating. The meal was delicious and there was plenty of it, overall I was very satisfied with what we had ordered. I would definately go again."

"Hikataya Ramen was closed for renovations. So we decided to try this place. We've been to Japan several times love Japanese food and this place was a massive let down. The Ramen ($14) doesn't compare the broth lacked flavour 2 tiny pieces of meat just disappointing and the wagyu dish ($18) we had was chewy and salty best part was the rice. The customer service was great. Very friendly but our expectations definitely weren't met."
