"Very nice room. Great location. Great view of the river. Nice bike trails with bikes to rent. Cabins looked cute,but booked too late to get one. It was nice that we got breakfast, but it really didnt have much on the buffet that was that great"

"For GDT hikers: This is the place to go to deal with your hungry state of being guys (the place where locals go, too).Just order an omelette and thank me later. I had the all meat one and the wife had the veggie. We both enjoyed it!Our waitress Rose was super nice, friendly and attentive.Oh, and you have 'unlimited drip coffee ' once you buy one. "Cassius, an Italian restaurant in Jasper AB, is a very nice and clean establishment. PROS: Great food and large portions Beautiful and friendly staff Warm ambience Clean washrooms Free access to a filled animal museum of the local animal world in the cellar of the restaurant. CONS: napkins should be bigger and more fleshy. The little paper napkin we received was inadequate."

"We picked this restaurant as Trip Advisor had it listed as the #1 steakhouse in Jasper and the patio is on the Main Drag in Jasper so the people watching is great.Pro's - our server was very polite. - view on the patio is amazing. Cons - my son's order was messed up twice. We spent a lot of money (ordered beers and ceasars with the meal. My son's order was prime rib with au jus on the side, along with the mushroom and onions on the side. it arrived with everything dumped on top. He spoke to the manager and sent it back. it was returned with the mushrooms and onions scraped off with au just still on top. When he raised it again, she chastised him telling him he needed to specify that when he ordered. He did - twice, and since the prime rib was so expensive we wanted it done right. - my husbands medium rare steak arrived medium well done. After the hassles with my son. he just sucked it up and ate it. He also ordered mushrooms that never arrived, but they charged us for them on the bill. - and speaking of the bill, we paid a lot for our entrees, I was shocked to see that we were charged $3 for mushrooms and $2 for sautéed onions?I rarely do negative review. At the end of the day, we are easy going. We dine out often and recognize that mistakes are made. The reality is, we rang up a huge bill and ordered expensive entrees - it wouldn't been nice if the restaurant had better customer service and made it right. We didn't need a discount, but don't chastise a customer for wanting the meal the way they ordered it (especially when they address it politely)."

"Probably one of the worse experiences waited 10minutes to be seated was only seated after and would be quick the place was empty but was told they had reservations 90minutes later the restaurant was still empty). The server seemed puzzled most of the evening my soup was a little cool taste was average at best. Had the lamb shank was obviously reheated as it was cool in the middle their was a it was in a flavourless liquid?.. dessert I had the creme brûlée thinking how could they screw it up ... they did sugar wasn't melted so got a mouthful of low grade white sugar. The server alerted the manager offered an apology only after a long discussion with I guess the chef s they stared at us from afar. One of the worse meals I've had in 50 years!!! Oh they gave me 10% off WOW. I will say the front desk staff were very friendly and professional"

"We ordered Chirasi Don, beef teriyaki, avocado salmon roll and Town of Jasper roll. All very good. The food did take quite a while to come out and it gets a bit expensive if you order a roll plus something else for one person. Eating out in Jasper is expensive anyhow, but it can get pricey here quick if you are used to ordering multiple dishes at sushi restaurants."
