"On days when my wife and I are flitting around Guelph doing errands we make it a point to lunch at Thai Express. The food is terrific. You get to watch the cooks prepare it right in front of your eyes. They'll custom prepare it the way you like it. Everything is so fresh and tasty. The décor is bright and reflects the Thai culture. We'll be back before you know it 'cause it's all great."

"The food is always so fresh. Vegetables are crispy and delicious. Black bean chicken is my favourite dish! Lots of chicken with crispy green peppers and onions! The chicken balls are 90% chicken too! I could go on and on.,,, Portions are large so plan to have leftovers!"

"The food experience is great but is shadowed by the extremely poor service, which pears to be a characteristics of Asian food restaurants. Three days in the row they run out at lunch time of basil and sprout?!?!?! From my point of view this is in acceptable few days in a row. Other time they were out of a typical kind of noodles and the list could go on. If you ask for something, good luck to you to get it on time or ever get it."

"The Grilled Chicken Salad sounded good on the menu, but it was terribly disappointing. It was just a large bowl of romaine, tossed with some balsamic vinegar. The grilled chicken was dry and difficult to eat. It tasted like the Kirkland grilled chicken that you can buy at Costco but reheated. There were two or three shavings of parmesan cheese and no walnuts to be found. I wish I had ordered a pizza."

"While basically Chinese takeout there are 3 tables so you can eat in if you are prepared to eat out of the plastic carry out containers on paper plates with chop sticks or plastic forks. On our first visit we did that. The dishes make spicy are just barely hot. The chef is Cantonese and the food tends to the sweeter side. Everything was fresh and tasty, The staff was friendly and checked several times that we were happy with our meal."

"Tldr: I ordered #321 Rare beef and beef ball pho and shared Vietnamese Style pork and shrimp salad rolls. 100% would get the salad rolls again, tasted super good. Pho was also good, as I expected no less from Pho Dau Bo! Would recommend for quick and authentic Pho. I didn't realize I hadn't had pho for almost a year until I've decided to visit Pho Dau Bo today. I was extremely excited as I have previously (pre-pandemic) been here before and really enjoyed my food along with how fast the food arrived to our table. When it comes to Pho restaurants and their appetizers, it's really hard to know what to order. My friends have already tried some and said we should share the vietnamese style pork&shrimp salad rolls. THEY WERE AMAZING. Peanut sauce perfeclty complimented the rolls wrapped with rice papers, shrimp did not taste fishy at all along with lots of veggies. As for pho, I ordered the rare beef and beef ball pho. The broth was amazing, noodles were also great. One comment to add though is the beef was not as soft as I expected. Other than that minor issue, we had a wonderful (and quick) time at the restaurant. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for cheap and fast pho!"
