"My family has been coming to Kanki for over a decade and used to love it. We visited for the first time in about a year last. The service was by far the worst we have experienced. The fact that our server had to refill drinks and take bar and sushi orders clearly annoyed her beyond belief. Kylie was rude, condescending and she offered little more than one word responses except when she tried to tell someone in our party they had ordered wrong when she brought the wrong sake. When we asked her about sushi modifications her response was I don 't know . When we ordered sushi she delivered the wrong rolls. The service was so appaling that Kylie asked us if we could finish some of this so she could clear appetizer and sushi plates. Not that we care about free sherbet, but she was so unprofessional that she went out of her way to say happy birthday and bring birthday dessert to the other party at our table, completely ignoring our daughter who we made clear was also celebrating her birthday. Someone in the other party had to point out to Kylie that she was being rude. Add to Kylie 's lovely demeanor an exhausted chef who, while he was friendly and smiled, clearly had no interest in entertaining guests and a manager that was so indifferent she essentially shrugged her shoulders when we explained our experience. There are far too many dining options in Raleigh to put up with abusive servers, a management staff who clearly does not care about the customer experience and overpriced food that is mediocre at best."

"Small, Quaint Restaurant, nice atmosphere... with great service and AMAZING food! Awesome portion sizes. Crab Rangoons that are savory and delicious some of the best Pad Thai I've ever had. Very happy with our dinner selection on this visit to Raleigh. Highly Recommended."

"The sandwiches are huge and full of flavor! The chicken was super crispy and the sauce was sweet. I tried the chicken teriyaki and I highly recommend it. The homemade chips are also nice and crunchy. I'd come back again and again."
