"This place is great. The food is always delicious and the food comes out quick! I had wonton soup, egg roll and shrimp with vegetables. I forgot to ask for white sauce instead of brown and they made another order the way I like it and we took the other one home. Everything was delicious. Can't wait to go back. Everytime I visit my mom we go here and the food is always fresh and delicious, the restaurant is always clean and the staff are friendly and helpful."

"Japanese American restaurant in the casual, “Izakaya” style, which has been gaining popularity in the states amongst “Foodies” and weekend warriors alike, Nijiya, offers a range Japanese fare. Best in Nac, for sure. Haven’t been to the new location since it opened, but I’m sure it’s just as good as the other two. Family owned and operated, locally for about 15 years, and never had any complaints. (Pro tip #223-ask if they have any hamachi kama available...but keep that on the low!!"

"Really, in the Nac Mall of all places. I was turned from a car dealer friend of mine to this place after he told me about my affinity for Pho. If you do not know Pho, it is a traditional Vietnamese soup based on clear bovine broth, shaved lean beef and rice noodles. Like any traditional dish, everyone does it a little different, so it is always nice to go to a place and try their version. You can say that T tries to translate his menu in East Texan, but he has your typical Vietnamese sandwich shop tariff, but the menu items have been renamed to the Nac Mall Ratten I guess. However, he has no problem when I order a bowl of Pho and some Vietnamese coffee for the desert. T's Pho is good, not the best I ever had, but I'm going back because the next best place to get any is three hours away. I want to try out his sandwich one day, I hear they're excellent and the avocado smoothie, don't knock it on until you try. If you are a total noob to Pho, it is served with one side of fresh herbs, Chiles and bean sprouts as well as some hoisin (Asian Bbq Sauce), Sriracha (hot Chile sauce) and soy sauce. It is expected that you will annoy it according to your wishes. Just go to Sriracha if you are sensitive to spices, has a great taste, but it does not take much. If you put your fresh ingredients in, let them steeply in the broth for a minute so that the aromas come into the broth and the hot broth will soften the bean sprouts a little."
