"This restaurant is mostly for take-out but there are a few tables and we did eat there. I had not been there for many years and the food was not as delicious and spicy as I remembered. The portions were very large but not enough spice (except for the shanghai noodles which were perfect). The general tao's chicken was good - better than the sesame beef and I found the sauce for the peanut butter dumplings too sweet - it needed some soy which we added. The mixed veggies were very bland."

"We ordered the pan seared pork and cabbage dumplings hot and sour beef dumpling soup, both pork and beef dumplings were super tasty! Very spicy and homemade broth. The spring rolls were just ok. Highly recommended for their dumplings. It?s wonderful to have a good dumpling restaurant in the West Island. Speedy and friendly service."

"This is a great spot for delicious food with good service, great for take-out as well. I've been many times and the food is always really good. I prefer the goat dishes over the chicken (sometimes dry), but all the vegetarian plates are delicious and the naan is amazing."

"We enjoy Asian food like Australia has many choices and on our trip around the USA and Canada, we felt like a change of burgers, beautiful as they are. On our way to Sesam, in Montreal, we noticed the tasteful furnishings and decided to give this Asian restaurant an attempt. The food was worth the try as it was freshly prepared and delicious. The beer was good and the service was also very good. Overall, I recommend this thai restaurant as a good choice away from the usual range of burgers and tourist restaurants not far from here in old Montreal. Try it when you enjoy Thai food. Finally, not to be forgotten, a decent tea menu for those who enjoy their meal with a drink of this nature. We enjoyed the Marrakech tea."

"A cold rainy night in February. We had not been to Man Li in years. Most people go for take out - it is very, very basic and we were the only people actually at a table. The food was not as spicy as I remember but the portions were very large. The sezchuan eggplant need a bit of soy and some more fire but in spite of that it was very tasty. The general Tao's chicken was very good; the sesame beef not as good. The shanghai noodles were delicious and nice and spicy and the kids loved the wonton soup and peanut butter dumplings (I found those a bit too sweet). I did not like that the dishes came one by one. I had finished the general Tao's chicken and rice before the eggplant and sesame beef came. I realize that the kitchen is small and that's probably why."
