"I love this place! I was initially a bit confused when I entered the restaurant as I expected a traditional restaurant with menus, but was pleasantly surprised by the fact that you hand select your own noodles, tofu, greens, vegan meats and fish balls into a shopping basket. They cook it for you and you decide which broth you want for your noodles, or you can eat it dry and mix in your own sauces at the sauce station (there is one non-vegan sauce but it is clearly labelled). I love that you can completely customize your own noodles you can always switch up the noodles, toppings, and broths to create a completely new dish."

"Nice, little vegan place. You choose your greens then anything else you want like mushrooms, tofu, mock meats, seaweed etc you add the noodles you like and voila! 15 minutes later you have a bowl of soup. (3 types to choose from) Delicious and cheap."

"Taiwan is known for its stinking tofu, among others, and yi xin is specialized in extra-crispy, vegetarian stinky tofu and mian xian, or a kind of nudel soup. in the did, that's pretty much all they offer. the place is always packed and I was twice and only on weekdays. there is in the rule a line, they order, and they get a number. they'll bring you your food. that is simple and although the tofu is not the most stinking, it is still quite good. they also get the choice to get it sharp (they put on a spicy sauce). the noodles are hot and tasty, although on the pfefferian side. another delicious note: yi xin is located on a corner and next to it is a little stand for taro-related tasty that are both hot and cold delicious. it also has its own lines, especially at the weekend, or so I have heard from the natives. they can order from one place and eat it at the other place if they want, so they don't have to move. they will give them food through the low barrier. that the menu is completely in Chinese and without menus. I have no idea if they speak English."

"Despite the name, this is NOT a vegan restaurant as they serve eggs. (Very misleading) I was here three times, and they never had too much pudding, although it is printed on their menu. The seats are limited to about 10 people around the large wooden table in the form of Taiwan. The Tzu Chi TV Channel usually plays in the background. Now to the good things: the prices are very affordable, perhaps because they lead the restaurant out of their living room and veranda. I have the wagui (savory steamed rice cake in a bowl, NT$30 if they actually have lion mushroom noodle soup (NT$50, steamed veggie rolls, and veggie fried noodles (order without eggs to make it vegan, NT$50 . You usually give free sweet black tea at the end of your meal. It is also relatively close to Feng Chia University."
