"I came here in search of lamb brisket and although lamb brisket is no longer on the menu their traditional brisket did not disappoint. After parking I walked up and discovered a line to get in which I took as a good sign. Went in and was not disappointed the brisket was moist flavorful and the mac and cheese was made just right. My philosophy is that great bbq doesn’t need sauce and as you can see in the picture this plate passed the test and remained sauce free throughout its consumption with the exception of one bite so I could see how their sauce favored. If I was in the area I would definitely check this place out again."

"The Pony Room provided a fantastic upscale casual, but very intimate and romantic experience. They have a mix of indoor and outdoor seating, all of which are nice. We sat in the outdoor courtyard patio which had a cute little fountain in the middle. We had a bunch of other people around us, but it still felt intimate and we weren't hearing everybody else talking. Wait staff was fantastic and on top of everything throughout the meal. I never had to ask for more water, silverware, or anything else. In fact, they brought stuff to us we didn't know we would need... which led to a funny interaction about a spoon. We had cocktails, an appetizer, an entree each, and dessert. The cocktails were great and our waiter checked to make sure that we enjoyed them. For the appetizer, we got the esquite, a corn dish. It needed a little lime to make it great, but it was really good before. I got the squash blossom quesadilla and my girlfriend got the steak frites. Both were fantastic and I would absolutely recommend them. A little fresh salsa would be a nice addition to the quesadilla, but it was something I would absolutely get again. For dessert, we got the peach tartin. We substituted vanilla ice cream for the caramel ice cream and it was a perfect end to the meal. It wasn't too sweet and was a really nice refreshing summer or fall dessert. I would absolutely recommend the Pony Room for a special occasion or a nice date night."

"I love the #9, the pork katsu on the sizzling plate. I feel bad for the guy below me who doesn't know how to eat. Whenever I order it I include add ons and extra sauces. My favorite add on combo is mushroom with cheese, it melts so beautifully on the pork katsu. If I want a little more flavor I sometimes add extra meat with a side of garlic butter to add more flavor to the meal. I also don't dump the rice on the plate like a noob because I like to add my corn and spinach onto the rice bowl it comes with. There are also other ways of adding more flavor to the rice which compliments the meal, like adding sriracha sauce to the rice, or their spicy vinegar sauce, or mixing their spicy mayo sauce with the teriyaki sauce in the rice bowl. *cheffy kiss* muy delicioso"

"Great experience here. extensive craft can list with options for everyone. i had the urban artifact sour my boyfriend had the ommegang granola stout; both awesome. the fried pepperoni was a shot in the dark but we’re really glad we tried it; it defied expectations. the veggie burger the #6 grilled cheese also rocked. service was good we will definitely be back when we come to town again."
