"I travel globally and have been to heaven and hells of the world. Ended up in Hotel Delmar by mistake. Anyway after asking reception they told us this is the best place for seafood. Off we went tonight, with high expectations. Starter Advo and prawn was delicious but the other starter gallacia octopus was disgusting. Cold potato’s which should I guess have been warm added with microwaved octopus trying to disguise in salt not good for anyone with high blood pressure!! You needed to chase it with wine to eat it.. my best mates dad is a fisherman so I know my fresh fish. This had seen better days Then followed the sea food platter which I must say compared with others we had the presentation was not fab it’s more like a fish and chip shop in the uk but without the expected delivery of nice fish or chips! It was grim. Chased with wine Most of the muscles were not open, the clams were old and squid was so rubbery Andy Murray could use it for as ball in Wimbledon!! Prawns were a few days old and the lobster over cooked All over cooked a mouth full of salt and no lemon. The only nice thing was the wine. You know when your middle aged partner starts playing Sebastian and claw under the sea with your food something is wrong! So if you want fresh nice fish don’t go here. 100 euros lighter I feel like I’ve been cheated on but without the trip to the clap clinc instead I feel I’ll be taking a trip to find some of Spain’s finest loo role.. think it may come in handy! How to improve? Change the chef please for the love of keeping your restaurant alive and change the servers make them smile at least! If you want a nice place to eat go to tossa del Mar and have some monkfish (rape in Spanish)"
