"This place is on the long list of Brighton and Hove eateries I want to visit. Came here weekday lunch time and ordered the steak tacos. Average portion (3 tacos although I understand the others tacos are two pieces but bigger. The tacos were good. The rolled up smoked/grilled cheese was exquisite. The place is cool and edgy."

"Casa Don Carlos is a really friendly resturant and welcoming. The food was brilliant and different from a lot of spanish places I've been to before. We had a selection of paella, prawns, garlic mushrooms, fritata and pepper with chorizo in tomato sause with ouevo. These dishes were brilliant and would have again. The menu has a wide choice of dishes so you can have something new everytime. The prices of the dishes also were very good for the quality and size of the dhes you get. The service is excellent and very welcoming. I would recomend this resturant to everyone"

"We had the most amazing dinner here. I don't know how you can only give it 5 stars. the appetizers we had were particularly good: we had the lemon petersilie scallops and the huge gambas (see photos). for the first we had healed that was also excellent and the monk-shrine that was good, but did not go. the service was also excellent! the only annoying is that they can't book a table and they must leave their names and they'll be called when a table is free. we went around 6.45 and had to wait for 1.45 o'clock my advice would be to get there early. so delicious, although it was worth it!"

"Delicious Greek salad and halloumi dish. the best surprise was the warm baklava, which was wonderfully nutty and not the usual kiefer achingly sweet. this dessert would easily serve two! basic prices for eating and wein personal was really friendly and attentive would come back to any case!"
