"We are here twice, once as a family for lunch and then for a romantic supper. The food was excellent on both occasions with large portions. Both meals were reasonably priced. The staff were enthusiastic and helpful and we would recommend it."

"We visited here three times, a few years between each visit. every time eating is good, also excellent. what some improvements need is the service. It's not bad, but it's not great. Sometimes it is lacking experrse, sometimes it is slow, language challenges to some employment. everything in everything, even a beautiful place."

"The restaurant is on a steep rampart and there is a nice view to Calheta and the sea. Interior is clean and service very polite and and restrained. We ordered mixed grilled fish and seafood for two persons. The portion insisted also bread with garlic, vegetables and a huge amount boiled potatoes. There were three different species of fish (espada, dorado, bass), mussels, squids and big shrimps. The portion was pretentios and so large that we did'nt eat potatoes at all. Fish was quite good but not as excellent as the price had presumed. Warm bread was good and vegetables (green beans, carrots and broccoli) were fresh and tasty."

"Loved the atmosphere, and the very home cooked feeling food. However, ate here at lunch after just a fruit breakfast, and I'm pretty sure the pork gave me food poisoning."
