"Great food and service. Very friendly staff and very accommodating for our two children. We all ate until we were full and went into our pockets with two more meals worth of food. Great neighborhood restaurant and good Italian food. I would recommend the Calimari as a starter who can keep up with the best that Chicago has to offer. We will come back 10 out of 10 experiences! ????????"

"Sushi is the best I've had, but I've never been to a world renowned sushi restaurant so I guess I'm still a sushi infant. The hibachi is hit or miss but never bad. Sometimes it's really good sometimes just okay. Some of the cooks are more entertaining than others. Overall, I like it enough to keep coming back."

"Made reservations for a Saturday glad we did. The enchiladas de pato and the carne asada special were fantastic, the octopus tostones were delicious and pur server was wonderful, not overbearing but attentive. My spur of Ramon cocktail was a little sweet but also delicious. All in all, worth visiting, especially for date night"

"We came here to celebrate a friend's birthday and had such a great time. There were 9 of us at the party and our two waiters were almost impeccable with their service! They were understandable by the menu and made great recommendations because it was the first time there for all of us! The atmosphere is really beautiful and the music they play will definitely catch your ear. Everyone at our party had such a great time! I'll say parts on the ducks were a little small. My gut was a decent size, but others at my table were disappointed by the portions of their food as soon as it came out. Photo 1: Timorasso The waitress suggested this wine to me when I asked what was comparable to a Sauvignon Blanc. I really enjoy wine on the dry side and this selection was exactly what I was looking for! Photo 2: Montenegro Choose Aperitivo This day Aperitivos were halfway away, so I had to try one of them! This had a nice, fat taste to him and was not too sweet at all. I tried others at the table and I would highly recommend a date night around these drinks! Photo 3: Oktopus The presentation of her Calamari was different than I had seen before, but it was well-kept and delicious. The sauce was great and all Garnishes have really added some different flavors when paired with the Calamari! Very recommended! Photo 4: Tagliatelle Alfredo At the beginning I added a piece of black salmon and I was somewhat disappointed for many reasons. The fish didn't get ulcered. It was almost as if it was easily thought, and the middle was too muddy for my pleasure. The extra piece of salmon was an extra $30 on my $18 pasta. Of course I had expected that I would pay extra for adding meat, but if I knew that the salmon would be so much, I would have ordered a second appetizer for comparison, a second entree would have been even less than the added salmon. The pasta itself was delicious and the sauce made you want to lick the dish clean, haha!"

"Love this place. I have been going to Forty Five for over a year, at first I was skeptical, music was a little loud and half price sushi got so popular that it was taking a little long...but recently I have found that the music has been adjusted and although it seems to be busier on Sundays our sushi has been coming out at a much better time! All of the staff is very friendly and really seem to like their jobs! I recommend this place all the time...two BIG thumbs up! Way to go on making adjustments to make the Forty Five experience outstanding!"

"The atmosphere was Date night and after work vibes. They had a nice selection of food and drink options. The was tasty and well prepared. The server started off strong with being welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu. After putting in the order we waited for a long time to get our food and the server did not check on or update us on the wait, which is why the 3 stars. I would go back again because the food was delicious and there is more I would like to try."

"Very nice restaurant small and intimate. The lighting is perfect low which makes for a nice atmosphere. Service was great. Food was very satisfying. My only complaints were : no rolls or bread served at all but worse than that the Oysters Rockefeller were cold!!! Big disappointment. I mentioned the cold Oysters Rockefeller to the waitress and she said she would tell the chef but that was the end of it. No apology or adjustment to the bill. I was so looking forward to those. Nice neighborhood spot with good vibes. I would go back because of the ambience and fairly good food."
